HiFI Square Return Policy
You may return items that are complete and like new for any reason within 30 days of purchase for a refund. Some exclusions apply. HiFiSquare does NOT charge restocking fees for returns of defective products. If you have received the wrong product or it doesn’t match what was shown on our site or we have made some other shipping error, there will be NO restocking fee and NO charge for a return label, provided the item is within its return policy period.
How to Make a Return
1. Get a Return Authorization Number
2. Pack your items carefully
Returned items must be new and in the original packaging, complete with all original accessories and manuals. To protect products in shipping, HiFi Square over-boxes most products. Please use the original over-box and the manufacturer’s packaging.
3. Attach the shipping label
For most returns, you will receive a UPS Authorized Return Service (ARS) shipping label along with your return authorization number. Remove or mark out the original labels, then securely tape one completed ARS label to each package.
4. Give the package to UPS
Take it to any official UPS drop-off site. For the location nearest you, call 1-800-742-5877 or visit
Refund Option & Method: Once the item is returned and inspected, HiFi square will issue the refund to the original payment method.
Non-refundable: The money-back guarantee does not apply to prepaid installation and services.
Items must be new: HiFi Square may refuse a customer return or charge restocking fee when the returned item is not new or opened. Examples of conditions that will lead to refused returns or restocking fee include when the return item has:
A different serial number than the one HiFi Square or HiFi Square supplier originally shipped.
Missing parts or the original product packing material.
Damage because it was improperly packaged for return shipment.
Been heavily used or showing signs of wear and tear.
Damage from drops, spilled liquid, or mishandling.
How will I know if you've received my return? HiFi Square customer service team will email or mail you a letter confirming that the return was processed. If you used an ARS tag to return your product, you can trace your package using tracking number and calling UPS at 1-800-742-5877 or visiting www.ups.com.
How long does it take WiFi Square to process my return? After we receive your package, we normally process your exchange or refund within two business days.
Return Shipping Costs
For most returns: Hifi Square can issue you an UPS Authorized Return Shipping (ARS) label for a flat fee of $10 per package. Let us know how many packages you're returning, and we will send a label for each package via email, fax, or US mail.
Non-refundable: Some items, like larger furniture and large tower speakers require special freight shipping, and cost more to return.
Tower speakers (per pair): $75
Powered subwoofers: $75
Other freight categories: $100
Return shipping cost: The shipping costs are deducted from your merchandise refund. FREE shipping for defective items.
International shipping: You are responsible for any international shipping charges or duties. UPS ARS labels are not valid for international shipping or shipping from US territories other than Puerto Rico.
Full Refunds, Partial Refunds and Restocking Fees
HiFiSquare does NOT charge restocking fees for returns of defective products. You will receive 100% of the item's purchase price and free shipping labels for the following return conditions.
Defective items (no fault of customer)
Unopened items returned in the original condition as shipped
Wrong item shipped or item does not match what was shown on the HiFi Square website
You will receive 85% of the item's purchase price for the following return conditions.
Non-defective items that are opened
Non-defective special orders or custom-built item
You will receive 0% of the item's purchase price for the following return conditions.
Items not in original condition, damaged, missing, accessories, retail box, UPC code or showing obvious misuse not due to HiFi Square or its supplier's error
